Suffering happens. We must learn to relate to it with love, lest we become bound by hate.
Finding Motivation When It Can’t Be Found
Life can be bright and warm and easeful. Life can be dark and cold and arduous. In the dark times, it can be difficult to find motivation to even get up in the morning, let alone eat healthy, exercise, and meditate. What’s worse is that these struggles can become our identity as we settle into the groove of being satiated with an unfulfilling existence. But there is a way to find the light again, by learning how to relate to our struggles, and by leaning on those around us.
Finding Who You Really Are
Find the person who you want to be, and let that person grow. Love that person, and the seeds that once seemed so miniscule and pitiful will flourish.
The Bumpy Road to Happiness
Sometimes, just making it through the day can seem like an insurmountable hurdle. But the road to happiness exists, and we can pave the way.
You’ll Find Something You Don’t Like (Eventually)
Do you find yourself without many long-term friends, often bouncing from friend to friend? Do you crave deeper relationships? You might be stuck in the habit of discarding those people in your life who start to show their cracks as you get to know them.

Embracing Difference
We humans spend a lot of time wondering about why other people like certain things. Who could possibly like the color of that sweater? Why would someone buy that car? Does anyone actually classify those sounds as music? That person is the worst actor I’ve ever seen; that actress is the best. I’ve been guilty…

I recently finished teaching my first mindfulness meditation course. While it was a lot of work, I truly enjoyed sharing the crucial knowledge of being present and mindful with my first cohort. More than anything, I can’t overstate the feeling of appreciation and joy for my student’s efforts as I heard them speak about their…
